Our
Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Department, under the expert leadership
of Dr. Kruti Desai, offers comprehensive, evidence-based rehabilitation for
children and adults across a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological,
cardiopulmonary, developmental, and functional challenges. Equipped with state-of-the-art
modalities—ranging from manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to advanced
electrotherapy—our physiotherapists and occupational therapists collaboratively
design individualized treatment plans that restore function, improve
independence, and enhance overall quality of life.
While
physiotherapy focuses on relieving pain, restoring movement, and improving
physical strength and endurance, occupational therapy emphasizes helping
individuals participate in daily activities and functional tasks—whether at
home, school, work, or in the community. Our therapists work closely with
families, educators, physicians, and other team members to ensure
goal-oriented, age-appropriate care that supports not only physical but also
cognitive and sensory needs.
Whether it's
helping a child master handwriting, an adult recover from a stroke, or an
elderly person regain daily independence, our integrated department fosters a
holistic, patient-centered environment. We prioritize education, adaptive
techniques, and self-management skills to support long-term progress and
participation in meaningful life activities.
