Event Report: Free Artificial Limb Distribution Camp – A Tribute to Late Shri Rajeshbhai Mehta
On the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Late Shri Rajeshbhai Mehta, a legendary philanthropist and a pillar of social service in Rajkot, the Kaushal Vikas Trust and Divine Rehabilitation Center successfully organized a Free Artificial Limb Distribution Camp.
This initiative was a heartfelt tribute to Shri Rajeshbhai’s lifelong vision of a self-reliant and empowered community.
The Mission: Restoring Independence
The camp was specifically designed to provide high-quality prosthetic solutions for individuals with limb loss (both above-knee and below-knee amputations). The objective was not just to provide medical aid, but to restore the gift of mobility, dignity, and independence to the beneficiaries.
Event Highlights & Timeline
The project was executed in two carefully planned phases to ensure that every prosthetic was custom-fabricated to the unique needs of the recipient:
Measurement Phase (January 10, 2026): Clinical experts from Divine Rehabilitation Center conducted detailed assessments and took precise measurements for all registered beneficiaries.
Distribution Phase (January 25, 2026): Following specialized fabrication, the custom-made limbs were distributed and fitted between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

The event was hosted at the Divine Rehabilitation Center, a premier facility located at: 13/3 Jagnath Plot, Behind Kathiawar Gymkhana, Dr. Yagnik Road, Rajkot.
